We have been with Wekesa Anne Wanyama at least three times. Pastor Anne was known in Kenya for some time as a gifted singer, but in spite of a number of personal struggles, she has planted a growing church in Kitale and planted another church near Mt. Elgon. She also hosts an annual international conference called Phenomenal Women of Africa.
I have watched her church grow through meeting in a school to meeting under a tree to having their own building. Both churches lacked Bibles when I first met them, but they were hungry for what God would do. Each time we have visited them, we have witnessed God do miraculous things. We saw God touch people on the streets, we saw God heal people, and we know God will continue to work through this ministry to touch many people across Africa.
