Elijah and Rebecca Wafula founded this ministry and planted at least 21 churches so far in rural communities across Kenya, and they also run a children’s school with over 300 students. They have a goal of planting a church every year along with a nearby well. They have a desire to reach the unreached.
Some of their needs are:
- Bibles – With your help we have provided Swahili Bibles, but many more are needed.
- Funds for self-sustaining projects – They raise cows to provide milk for the school children, they raise chickens to feed the children, and women of the church raise crops to help feed the children.
- Funds for wells and church planting – It costs money to drill wells, but that provides a life-sustaining difference in communities.
This is a wonderful ministry where I have been at least twice. I have known them close to seven years now, and this association has led to one of our favorite ministries to widows.
