Agape Widows Fellowship-Mois’ Bridge, Kenya

Agape Widows Fellowship came to be through the help of two different women with the name Dorcas. The woman on the far left (Dorcas) took me door-to-door to minister to people in the community. The woman on the far right (Dorcas) was a wonderful woman in her 80s who left quite an impression on me. She made beautiful pots and raised chickens to help women in need. On my next trip to the area, I was taken again to her home, where I danced and prayed with about a dozen widows. These women decided to have a weekly Bible fellowship, and they have been one of my favorite groups of people to visit in Western Kenya.

Food

  • Food – The pandemic has been a particularly difficult time for these ladies, and we periodically send funds to make certain they have food to eat.
  • Weekly fellowship – They meet weekly and share testimonies of what God has done in their lives.
  • Rental income – We purchased plastic chairs for them to rent to others for events, but having a tent to provide would greatly enhance their income.
